Today, we are joined by two International Best Selling authors who will be talking about our pursuit of consciousness as humans and the life after the military deployment.
There are many problems in the world and being human. One of the things that can be a solution is our ability to choose, and you have to make a powerful choice in your life today.
“Let’s learn to understand ourselves a lot more than we do currently. Let’s learn how to start liking ourselves and then maybe rather than thinking we’re separate from everyone else, maybe we can get back those days of community and togetherness because we are all in the same boat and we all think very similar things. This is a book about learning a bit about ourselves by asking ourselves questions, testing the things that we believe all our lives, and challenging them not just accepting the mantras of others all the time that we begin to establish what we feel is right deep inside and it feels good although it may go against the brain.” — Bob Norton
After you’ve been deployed and after you’ve been in a war zone, is there such a thing as life?
You need to do a lot of self-searching to discover the things you like and don’t like. I had to dig deep and go back to my childhood to think of things that I wasn’t able to get as a child that I can get now since I don’t have to depend on my parents to provide those things for me. You need to do a lot of exploring, meditating, and trusting in God. I had to stay focused on myself and the things that I like and what I don’t like. You have to get yourself out there to be able to have an open mind and be open to different experiences. — Keisha Dixon
