“How to Assign Tasks, Ask for Help & Manage People with Grace” with Michael James

11.28.2017 by admin // Leave a Comment

Managing people can be a difficult task.  Doing it gracefully can seem nearly impossible some days.  Surprising though, even worse than the difficulty of managing people is the trap of doing it all ourselves.

We need to remember the importance of letting go.  As an entrepreneur, it is so easy to always see every task as being something we have to do.  The truth though is much different.  All distractions are equal, and in your business, the distraction of busyness can be the worst.  We need to learn how to identify not only our strengths but also our weaknesses.  Then as we have said many times, we need to STOP DOING WHAT YOU SUCK AT!  Let your brilliance shine and allow others a place where their brilliance can shine as well.

We need to discover how to assign people where they will shine and then lead them with grace.  It is our job as the owner of our company and the CEO of our business to create an environment of empowerment.  By allowing our people to shine and creating a graceful place for accomplishment we receive a business that is not only successful but is more importantly THRIVING!

Michael spent years as a general contractor, so he knows how to manage people and projects. Michael also went on an incredible journey of self-discovery that has changed his life.  Michael shares with what he learned about himself and how that can help you and your business to:

* Be open to asking for help
* Giving Grace as we Manage people
* Assigning tasks to the right people and empowering their success

Breaking Through The Pain with L.A. and Chanel

11.21.2017 by admin // Leave a Comment

The pain we’re going through is real, but you need to understand that there is always a way out. Today, Steve is joined by two best selling authors, L.A. Roberts and Chanel Chase who will be sharing with us their personal story of resilience, tragedy, and triumph.

From Breakdown to Breakthrough is a story of a great man and a resilient woman who, after a heartbreaking loss, bounced back and found her way from breakdown to breakthrough. L.A’s breakdown was when her grandfather (Leon) passed away. That tragedy brought a lot of despair in her heart and made her broken. She wrote her book as a promise to her grandfather before he passed away that she will continue to make him proud and that everybody will know who Leon F. Howard Sr is; this was her breakthrough.

There is a way to move from the pain that you are in right now to where you need to be which is to your purpose. Chanel wrote her book Pain Process Purpose: The 3P’s To Finding Your Spiritual Identity to make her readers understand that there is a process that you need to go through to discover your purpose.

Join Steve Kidd in this amazing interview on Thriving Entrepreneur.

“Are You Missing Buying Signals?” with Nikki Rausch

11.14.2017 by admin // Leave a Comment

We have all said it so many times things like:

I don’t know why they didn’t buy?
Or how about, “I really thought they were going to buy”?
Think about the last time you said that?
Why didn’t they buy?  Why didn’t we know? What could we do differently?

We all ask these questions whenever we think we should have had a sale.  Wouldn’t it be great if everyone who wanted our product just had a sign saying, “I want to buy”!

Here is shocking news!! THEY DO!  The problem is that we miss it?

Customers give us signals.  Sadly they are very unlikely to say, “Hey!  Let me buy your stuff!”  But in many ways, the things they do and say are saying exactly that.

When a customer tells us they want to buy sometimes even unconsciously, these are called “Buying Signals.”

We know how to build the like, admire and trust with a person. We know we have a product they want and need.  Maybe we even thought they were going to get it, and then…they didn’t.

Today we are going to learn how not to miss it anymore.  How to recognize buying signals our customers are giving them and then just simply invite them to do business with us.

Host Steve Kidd is joined by Award-winning Sales executive and founder of Sales Maven Nikki Rausch.  They will teach us today what we need to learn simple and powerful skills to increase your sales. Learn today how to get your customer to say yes without being pushy AND learn how to hear when a person is really telling you they want to buy.  Learn how not to miss BUYING SIGNALS!
